With today's smartphones having less than desirable battery capacity, our goal is to extract every ounce of battery life we can. Smart WiFi Toggler is designed to help reduce unnecessary battery drain caused by WiFi. It is smart enough to learn your WiFi network locations by associating them with your operator's nearby cell towers. Whenever you are disconnected from a WiFi network and not in that location, it will turn your WiFi off. Next time you arrive back to a hotspot location, Smart WiFi Toggler will check if you are connected to any known cells and enable your WiFi accordingly. This in turn helps you reduce operator data charges in addition to avoiding battery drain caused by the more intensive cellular data traffic.
